Tammie Flynn
Tammie Flynn is the calendar clerk, responsible for scheduling or clearing all depositions and similar matters as well as maintaining the calendars of everyone in the firm in terms of both appearances and reminders. Tammie also takes care of getting deposition notices out and subpoenas issued in a timely manner.
Pam Buchnoff, C.P.
Pam Buchnoff (butch-noff) has been working in law offices for over thirty years and for the Emerson offices since 1992. A paralegal since 1987, she became a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants in 1994, having met and maintained rigorous national certification standards.
Pam regularly assists in the handling of insurance defense cases in both state and federal court involving all types of personal injury claims, civil rights claims, and public entity defense cases. She also has considerable experience with litigated cases involving employment claims, unfair business practices, wrongful death, crop loss, condemnation and other business related cases.
Laurie Furin
Laurie Furin has been working for the Emerson offices since 1994 and working as a paralegal since 1997. Laurie assists in the handling of insurance defense cases as well as some of the firm's plaintiff injury cases. Laurie has significant experience with litigated cases involving wrongful death, employment claims, and unfair business practices in addition to the personal injury cases.
Lisa Madden
Lisa Madden is a law clerk and paralegal. She is a graduate of San Joaquin Valley College of Law and currently waiting for her California State Bar examination results.
Jim Reynolds
Jim Reynolds is a newer addition to the staff although he has been working as a paralegal in the personal injury field for 15 years. Jim is assisting in litigated files for both the insurance defense practice and with the plaintiff personal injury and employment cases. Jim is in his last year of law school at the San Joaquin College of Law.
Sarah Heisdorf
Sarah Heisdorf is a paralegal and assists in the handling of insurance defense and subrogation cases. She has been with the Emerson offices since 2004.
Jackie Hand
Jackie Hand has been a legal secretary since 2006.
Kathy Scheidt
Kathy Scheidt joined our office in 2009; she has been a legal secretary since 1998.
Amanda Heisdorf
Amanda Heisdorf has been a legal secretary since 2009.
Susan Grether
Susan Grether is the bookkeeper and billing clerk. She has worked for the Emerson offices since 1989. Her expertise in billing guidelines and codes helps maintain consistent, compliant billings for all of the various carriers and clients of the office.
